New Exhibit: 19th Century Artistic Wooden Statue of St. Barbara at the Malta Time-Gun Museum

An 19th century artistic wooden statue of St. Barbara patron saint of artillerymen was added to the display at the Malta Time-gun Museum in Valletta. It is found in the first gallery next to the story board dedicated to the cult of Saint Barbara amongst the Confraternity of Bombardiers in Malta during the Middle Ages and Hospitaller periods. The Malta Time-gun Museum is open between Monday and Saturday from 10.00am till 4.30pm. Guided tours of the same are offered at the adjoining Saluting Battery in the mornings and afternoon. Entrance costs €3 for just the museum or €6 inclusive of the Saluting Battery.
