WAYS TO VOLUNTEER

Gardening

If you have a green thumb, Fondazzjoni Wirt Artna offers various opportunities for gardening. You can assist at the expansive nature park at Fort Rinella in Kalkara, plant or water trees at other sites, or tend to the soft areas and planters at our museums and sites. No previous experience is needed, just a love of nature.

Guided Tours

Are you passionate about history and enjoy meeting people from different countries and cultures? Do you have some free time to spare? Why not become a Fondazzjoni Wirt Artna volunteer guide? No prior experience is needed; we will train you on the job. All you need is passion and a minimum of a few hours a week to spare.

Library and Archives

Fondazzjoni Wirt Artna maintains a large reference library specialising in heritage and history, along with different archives that are constantly expanding. Managing these resources is time-consuming, and we are always on the lookout for volunteers to lend a hand. There are various rewarding tasks for volunteers here, including cleaning and registering new material, sorting, classifying, and indexing it, as well as basic conservation and digitisation.
